Family Shop Projects
Teach Your Kids to Build Something.
You don't need a workshop full of tools to start teaching your kids how to build. A few basic tools, some simple projects, and a little patience can go a long way. We're putting together resources to help parents teach their kids practical skills, build confidence, and have some fun along the way.
Start With the Right Tools
Not sure what tools you need? We've put together a free starter tool list based on what we use to teach kids at VoSKILL. It's a practical place to start without buying a bunch of equipment you don't need.
Everything your builder needs to keep building between classes. Take this list to the store and tick the boxes.
Build Something Together
We're working on step-by-step project plans designed for parents and kids to build together at home. They'll include materials, tools, instructions, and tips from what we've learned teaching shop classes at VoSKILL.
Want to know when they're ready? Join the waitlist and we'll let you know when the first projects are available.
