Shop Classes

Real shop classes where kids and teens create fun projects while learning lasting skills using real tools.

VoSKILL Shop Classes are hands-on, beginner-friendly programs designed to help builders grow through creating, problem-solving, and building with confidence.

Builders meet once a week during the month and complete real projects they can take home and be proud of. They choose what they want to build.

How It Works

1. Choose your class
Select the program that fits your builder's age and your schedule. Programs start the first day (Tuesday or Wednesday) of the month.

2. Choose your build
On the first day of class, your builder picks the project they want to create from our collection of hands-on builds.

3. Build something real
Over the several weeks, they'll use real tools to bring it to life. If they finish early, they can start another project.

Every class is hands-on.
Every builder creates something real.
Every student leaves proud of what they built.

No experience needed.
All tools and materials provided.

  • All necessary tools, safety equipment, and materials.

  • All of our sessions use real tools which requires a respect to what they can do and how to use them. Builders are encouraged to wear β€œshop clothes” (can get dirty). All Builders are required to wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals or crocs).

    Builders with long hair must have a way to put it up and jewelry must be removed.

  • Nope, just a desire to learn and build confidence.

  • No worries, we realize schedules change. Please let us know and we’ll get them into the next class.

  • If you are using a Step Up Scholarship please do the following:

    1. Use STEPUP2627 at check out to grab your Passes

    2. Log into EMA Scholarship Portal and click Find Providers and search for VoSKILL, then select the service that matches your block .

Every class begins with our values of Respect First and Safety Always. All students are expected to respect each other and the tools they are using. Students are also expected to use tools in the proper and safe manner that we teach them.
