Skill Builder Workshops
Go Beyond Basic Repairs. Build Real Skills.
Home Repair Workshops fix small problems.
Skill Builder Workshops build capability.
These workshops are for adults who want a deeper understanding of how their home’s HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems actually work — not just how to patch, tighten, or replace something.
If you’ve ever looked at your AC system, breaker panel, or under a sink and thought, “I wish someone would just show me how this works…” — this is for you.
No experience needed.
All tools provided.
Hands-on, practical, confidence-focused.
Why Skill Builder Workshops Exist
Most people were never taught the fundamentals. Not at school. Not at home.
We fix that.
VoSKILL Skill Builder Workshops bridge the gap between basic DIY and full trade training by teaching you the “why” behind the systems you live with every day.
You’ll learn:
The core principles behind HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
How parts work together — comfort, water movement, airflow, circuits
How to stay safe
How to approach home systems with confidence instead of fear
These are not accredited trade classes. They’re hands-on fundamentals, designed to build the kind of personal capability that makes you safer, more confident, and more competent.
Who These Workshops Are For
Homeowners who want to understand their systems
Adults thinking about entering the trades
Men who want to become more capable, confident, and reliable at home
Future VoSKILL Academy students (starting 2026)
Anyone who learns best by doing, not by watching videos
If you’ve ever said, “I wish someone would just walk me through this step-by-step,” this is that.
How the Workshops Work
Each subject is taught in three 2-hour blocks:
Part classwork (concepts broken down simply)

You can take just one block or all three — whatever fits your goals.
Each workshop includes:
Tools and materials
Real demonstrations
Safety instruction
Step-by-step coaching
Q&A for your real-world questions
Workshops are not drop-in. You must register and pay in advance.
